WebPosition inhabits the same territory as Web CEO, however so far they have not followed suit and release a free version of their core product.

WebPosition is the granddaddy of seo software. The developers stole an early lead in the market and the name is still considered a leader in the field. In this newest version tasks are categorised into four main sections:

Reports (including rank checking)
Target (keyword research)
Optimize (your pages)
Submit (search engine, directory etc)
Analyze (using the celebrated WebTrends service)

The features are comprehensive and well built, although Google Analytics is threatening the added value that WebTrend provides.
