Macrovirus is an anti virus program with some neat little extras. It has an inbuilt Adware and Spyware scanner and will repair any damage they've caused and delete them from your system. It also acts as a pop-up blocker, although most browsers now include this functionality.
Usually I don't like software that uses gimmicks (like pop-up blockers) and would prefer them to stick to a core purpose, but I do like this product. I'd be interested in running some comparisons on the virus database to check that it's comprehensive enough - anyone tried this one and have a review?

This is the biggest scam ever! I bought this product almost two years ago and now I find out that it is NOT A VIRUS PROTECTION AT ALL!
I was having problems and their own tech support live chat said it is only a malware and spyware program. They will tell you to download Microsoft's security software if you want virus protection. Now, I cannot get them to issue a refund.BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought Macrovirus about 6 months ago(£26 for 2 years). In September I bought a new computer, and have tried ever since to instal Macrovirus on the new one, and failed. I have e-mailed them numerous times, but have received no reply. It's just a rip-off.
I hate this program and think it's a rip-off. Don't ever try to contact the support staff to get your money back, good god.
For just $50 odd get a real antivirus like Kaspersky or even Norton.
(ed note : see Kaspersky, McAfee and Norton)
This is a con. They take your money and never activate product. Never responded to me, i am stuck with junk.
its ok, but no substitute for real protection. like using the withdrawl method instead of a rubber :)
