Friday, 12 May 2006I've said it before and I'll say it again. All kinds of incriminating things can be found on your computer, particularly if you go looking for it.
Let's face it gentlemen, sometimes pornographic images and videos find their way on to our computers, and rather unsavoury websites can clutter our browser history. On top of that, cached instant messages and downloaded software could fall into the hands of someone that we don't want it to – be it an employer, a spouse or a child.
So here comes Evidence Nuker. It's a pretty light program that effectively removes all trace of your more private moments. Here's the company blurb:

To put it bluntly, this is my porn defense. I share a laptop and don't want prying eyes looking at my surfing habits. Also good for when you need to get the pc serviced or upgraded - aviods embarrassment. Been using this program for a year VERY happily.

$29.95 is a very cheap price to stay married - much cheaper than 24 red roses. Defo buy this, it is the best ive tried.

Even if you think you know all the basics (delete tmp internet files etc) this program will show you a thing or two. Did you know that when you delete, you simply remove the filename from your harddrive. The file is still there!!!
I tried a scan on my PC and was happy to pay for the piece of mind to wipe what it found.
