We have had many, many reports from happy users of Error Nuker over the past three years. It's been a long standing favorite registry repair tool among our users, so we decided to take another look to make sure that the product is holding it's own against the newer Registry Repair and Optimization titles on the market.

Right off the bat, I'd say that the Error Nuker website is looking a little tired. Unfortunately, this tiredness seems to be spilling over into the service and product itself.

In our most recent round of tests, several other similarly priced titles scored higher on features, such as Registry Easy and Registry Defense. While the core registry scan continues to hold up, the product is missing some of the latest innovations in the field, such as the selective scanning offered by Registry Defense.

Support is also an issue. Newer software vendors now offer live support to help people who have lost activation codes, or are having trouble restoring from backup - yet Error Nuker continue to offer a web based form for support with no guideline as to how long it will take to receive a reply.

We've always had good feedback about Error Nuker, and as a core registry optimizer it does the job. You can scan your computer for free, and we encourage you to do so, however we reluctantly downgrade our own rating of the product.
