Wednesday, 16 March 2011DVD2VideoPlayer is a cheap and cheerful program that is designed for one purpose - to convert your DVD movies into portable files that you can play on your iPod, iPhone, iPad or other portable device with video capability.
The software makes it very easy to convert and import your DVDs onto your device through iTunes. It can convert movies into the popular formats WMV, AVI, DivX, Tivo, MPEG, VOB or AVISynth so that you can watch on your portable device or on your computer.
This is a no frills product. You can't convert to BlueRay format (as with DVD-Ranger and you can't edit the movies (as with DVD Ripper). The quality of the conversion is not as crisp as higher priced titles, but if you intend to view on a small screen and are not looking anything other than iTunes transfer then this could be for you.
