Making software decisions

Our aim is to help you choose between the hundreds of software titles on the market. We do that by ranking similar software in a league table, and by aggregating information, reviews and offers about each title onto one page so that you can make an informed choice.

Vote up, shout down

At the core of our league tables is a vote count for each software title. You can manually vote up or shout down a title by clicking the up and down arrows next to the name of the software. You don't have to register to vote on software, but you are only permitted to vote up or down once per title. We also convert reviews and tweets in to votes by analyzing the text and deciding whether it's a positive or negative statement.

Reviews

We also write a review of each piece of software. This is complimented by user comments that have been submitted to our website or that have been posted on social networking website Twitter.

Affiliate relationships

We do have affiliate relationships with some of the software vendors featured on our website. However we do not favor those software titles in our league tables which are based solely on user votes.
